We are having issues where Lotus Notes clients (8.0.2 and 8.5.1) are losing network connection. We are running Lotus Notes on Citrix 5.0. Basically the files are located on a network drive and are accessed that way. It looks like it drops connection and then crashes with no NSD crash logs available. I am guessing because with the connection being lost, it can't see the NSD file that writes the logs, although we do get NSD crashes rarely so it must sometimes see it and sometimes doesn't. The error logs show ACCESS DENIED to a ton of files.
The question I have, is there a way whether it be a server command or within the ini file where if it loses connection, there is a retry command or retry parameter that will check for a certain amount of seconds before crashing? It looks like it just loses connection for maybe 1 - 2 seconds and then it works fine however, if Lotus Notes loses connection for more than 1 - 2 seconds it crashes. Is there an ini parameter which remedy that?
